The Perfect Brunch Sandwich
A delicious crispy, ham and cheese brunch sandwich with wonderfully bold and unique flavours.

4 slices of good quality sourdough bread
2 Tbsp butter, at room temperature
2 Tbsp truffle oil
80 g of your favourite grated cheese
3 slices virginia ham
Honey to serve
- Spread each slice of bread with the butter on both sides. Evenly place the ham and cheese on each slice. Cover with the second slice of bread.
- Heat a non stick cast iron pan and add the truffle oil. Add the sandwiches to the pan, cover the pan with a lid. Turn the sandwiches once so that they are cooked evenly on both sides.
- When finished, place them on a cutting board and cut them in half with a good bread knife. Serve each sandwich with a drizzle of honey, if desired, for a fantastic brunch or snack for any time of the day!
